Here's Rob playing guitar at the Essex Arms in Brentwood, where he is a member of the house band, Roots Revue, on a thursday night (Vegas gigs permitting).. The theme of this particular night was "Glam Rock".. Rob is thinking of making this his new look onstage generally, specially the platform boots..

Roots Revue play at the Essex Arms, Warley Hill, Brentwood (right next to Brentwood Station) every thursday night from around 9.00 to 11.30 pm; playing the best of all kinds of music but mainly country and country rock, as well as blues, pop, rock and roll and also self penned material too.. The players include ex-chart topping musicians (apart from Rob of course!) with silver discs and everything, who have backed major names such as Chuck Berry, Freddie Starr and Rick Springfield.. Entry is free but a contribution to the tip jar is appreciated!

Nadine Somers Band News......

Rob and Andy also appear onstage with the vivacious Nadine Somers from time to time to form the Nadine Somers Band.. These are special events and happen very rarely throughout the year, so be sure to catch one of the shows if you can.. Nadine is currently on maternity leave, but she will be back performing with the boys in January, at the Smokey Mountain CMC, in Wythall, Birmingham on the 12th...

Nadine Drops Sprog No.3

Nadine finally gave birth to Baby William on Sunday 11th November; he was a bit late and had managed to bulk up to 8lb 2oz, which made Nadine wince a bit. We're sure the ladies can imagine, the gents will have to picture trying to pass a bowling ball.

Anyway, here's William in what Nadine describes as his "Prison Outfit", relaxing for a while, before returning to his ardous tasks of eating, sleeping and filling his nappy. Not necessarily in that order, and indeed sometimes simultaneously.

John Hughey Dies

Legendary Steel Player and hero to Vegas John Hughey died in Nashville recently, following complications during heart surgery. John was steel player on countless hits for Conway Twitty and Elvis, but was most recently famous for his work with Vince Gill (Look At Us becoming one of the classic steel solos of all time) Here's a picture of Rob with John Hughey at the Station Inn in Nashville, during a Timejumpers gig, something John did every monday night..
